Support Haiti Earthquake | Ways To Help Haiti Victims
Yesterday around 5pm, Haiti was hit with a 7.0 magnitude earthquake, the strongest earthquake to hit that region in 200 years. The death toll is astronomical, it’s feared that 100,000 (no thats not a typo..100,00!) are among the dead, possibly more.

Now I don’t want to focus on the story, but how we can participating in the aid. When we hear crippling News like this we are always eager to help, but at a loss in how we go about doing so…So here are a few ways to help with the Haiti relief.

Aid Through The Web

• Save The Children – Visit to site to donate funds which will send medicine and clean water to children and families
• Donate to Oxfam as they send a rush team from around the region to respond to the situation by providing clean water, shelter, sanitation and help people recover
• Direct Relief is commiting their organization to raise 1-million, help in that mission to do so

Aid With A Simple Text Msg

• Text “Yele” to the number 501501 and $5 will be sent to the ‘Yele Haiti earthquake fund’ (will simply appear on your next cell phone) bill (Only In US)
• Text “HAITI” to the number 45678 and $5 will be sent to the ‘Army 4 Haiti’ (will simply appear on your next cell phone) bill (Only In Canada)
• Text “HAITI” to the number 90999 to donate $10 via Redcross (again it will show up on your next bill)
